As a development company TeamDev will specialize in Java enterprise and desktop development and will continue developing products based on JNIWrapper technology. We are actively working on several new products that will be announced and rolled out really soon.

Welcome to a new version of the site

As you already know, we've expanded the pool of products, now carrying not only the JNIWrapper itself and WinPack, but also JExplorer and Mac OS X version of JNIWrapper, which we are going to release really soon (our apologies to those who we keep waiting). With several new products we are planning to introduce, we've realized that we need to re-think the web site organization and design.

The new design is probably the first thing that catches your eye. Take some time to scratch the surface and to try the new navigation that combines the "bread crumbs" technology with the site menu.

JNIWrapper 2.9 for Windows, JExplorer 1.4

Today, after some delay we introduce two new releases of JNIWrapper 2.9 and JExplorer 1.4.

New version of JNIWrapper covers several issues resolved after version 2.8.5. This version contains many improvements and fixes in the COM integration.

JExplorer 1.4 version also delivers numerous improvements that we made since the last release, mostly in memory management, stability and performance.

JNIWrapper 2.8.5 and JExplorer 1.3

Today we introduce two new releases of JNIWrapper 2.8.5 and JExplorer 1.3.

New version of JNIWrapper covers many important issues resolved after version 2.8. This version contains many improvements in the COM integration.

JExplorer 1.3 version also delivers numerous changes and improvements we made since the last release.

NOTE: The new version of JExplorer requires JNIWrapper 2.8.5 and Internet Explorer 6.x.

JNIWrapper Beta for Mac OS X, WinPack 2.3

Today the JNIWrapper Team is proud to present the first Beta release of JNIWrapper for Mac OS X.

You can download JNIWrapper for Mac OS X, and evaluate it during 30 days and submit us your comments or suggestions. By the time your trial version expires, JNIWrapper for Mac OS X will be available for purchase.

Your feedback on this Beta version is highly appreciated. Please use the support or feedback to contact developers if you have questions or suggestions regarding this new product.

Also, do not miss the new online JNIWrapper for Mac OS X Demo application that demonstrates some Mac OS X integration features.

In the new release of WinPack 2.3 library we have added two new features: API for DDE and System Event LogAPI. Both these features are presented in appropriate samples of the renewed WinPack Demo application.

JNIWrapper Beta for Mac OS X

JNIWrapper for Mac OS X supports all declared features, such as function native function calls, callbacks, various data types, automatic mamory management, etc.

Additionally, this version provides the samples for integration with Carbon framework (analogue of Win32 API for Windows) and its visual components, such as Open/Save File, Choose Folder, Choose Color dialogs and Native Windows.

Also, in this version we have implemented the FileSystemWatcher class that uses kqueue and kevent system functions of Mac OS X kernel. This class is analogue of our FileSystemWatcher class that we already made on Windows platform.

NOTE: Integration with all visual Carbon components works correctly under JDK 1.3 only. Invocation of them under JDK 1.4 may fail and even crash a Java application. But all not-visual features of Carbon library will work correctly on both JDKs.

JNIWrapper 2.8 and JExplorer 1.2

Today we introduce new releases of JNIWrapper 2.8 and JExplorer 1.2.

New version of JNIWrapper covers many important issues resolved after version 2.7.1. In this version we mostly have been focused on improving COM integration.

JExplorer 1.2 version delivers numerous changes and improvements we made since the first public release. The JExplorer API was improved and extended with several useful features basing on feedback from our customers. Keep writing to us!

NOTE: This new version of JExplorer is not compatible with previous version (2.7.1) of JNIWrapper.

Today we issue the first version of JExplorer. This release addresses many important issues that we have received during the Beta period of the product.

Also, along with JExplorer we issue the important release of JNIWrapper 2.7, in which we have fixed several important problems and added some features.

JNIWrapper for Mac OS X: The product is on the final testing phase and shortly we will introduce the Beta version for your evaluation.

JNIWrapper 3.0: In JNIWrapper 3.0 we're planing to introduce many useful features, such as a Java code generation by *.H file, Java COM server registration and many others.

Today we issue an important release of JNIWrapper, which addresses several important issues and introduces a number of improvements in the core API and COM integration.

Today we are introducing the prerelease of a new JNIWrapper 2.5 and a new Beta version of JExplorer Beta 3.

New JNIWrapper is the Beta release that covers many important issues resolved after version 2.4.1 and adds some new features to the library.

JExplorer Beta 3 released to deliver the general changes we made since Beta 2 to users who provided their feedback. The JExplorer API was significantly refactored and greatly simplified since last release.

Today we made available a new release of JNIWrapper 2.4.1and JExplorer Beta 2.

New JNIWrapper is the maintenance release that covers some most important issues resolved after version 2.4.

JNIWrapper 2.4 for Windows and New WinPack

The Easter holidays are gone. Time to get back to work! Today we are presenting a new release of JNIWrapper 2.4 and a new version of the WinPack library.

This version of JNIWrapper is the maintenance release and mostly covers issues we have addressed in response to your support requests. Also, this version provides many changes and extensions for the OLE Container implementation, which makes integration with Microsoft Office applications easier and smoother.

This WinPack release includes some new features that you may find useful in your applications. They are:
Services API
Processes API and
Hooks API.

JExplorer Preview

Today we are presenting the promised earlier Internet Explorer integration, which we called JExplorer.

JExplorer is a library that provides developers with an easy-to-use capability to integrate Internet Explorer with any Java application.

Check the JExplorer page for more details about JExplorer library and its features. JExplorer Beta is now available for download. You can use JNIWrapper evaluation license to evaluate JExplorer.

Since this is a Beta release of JExplorer, your feedback on it is highly appreciated. Please use our support or feedback facilities to contact developers if you have questions or suggestions regarding this product.

JNIWrapper 2.3 for Windows

We had a tough start of the year... Our customers, after refreshing holidays, submitted a good bunch of support requests to us. Some of them were interesting features requests and others were our drawbacks.

We made several delays of this version release willing to include as many changes as possible. Check the What's New page to see the list of major changes.

We mostly concentrated on COM support in this release and added enhancements to the run-time and code generation process that should make the integration easier. Thus, this is mostly a maintenance release with several useful features.

It appears that our documentation goes one step behind the development. We have started a massive update of our guides, samples, faqs and so on. And we are planning to concentrate on it later on.

Because of numerous support requests about integration with Microsoft Office applications, we have added appropriate samples into the distribution.

From now on, JNIWrapper 1.x for Windows is no longer available for purchase.

JNIWrapper 2.2 for Windows

Having analyzed the requests our support receives, we understood that it is important to provide an easy-to-use GUI utility for code generation. This release introduces the initial version of Code Generator for JNIWrapper with User Interface. To start the code generator with UI, simply start the Codegen.bat without parameters.

Also we have improved the OleContainer reliability and allowed inserting already created OLE component into the container.

Starting from this release, API documentation is distributed separately. You can download the complete documentation set at any time or access it online from the site.

JNIWrapper 2.1 for Windows

Since the JNIWrapper 2.0 release we have received a great number of feedback on the new functionality. A number of problems has been found and many new interesting features suggested.

We are not standing still and continue making headway according to our plans revealed previously. Therefore, this new release introduces several enhancements to the existing API and fixes issues discovered after 2.0 release.

JNIWrapper 2.0 for Windows Released!

Finally, the JNIWrapper 2.0 is released!

The product is now available for download and purchase. If you haven't tried it yet, get a 30-day evaluation to unveil the power and the pleasure of writing in the Java language only!

We have made every effort to make JNIWrapper 2.0 as much usable and understandable for our users as possible. See the list of changes made since the Beta version in What's New section.

JNIWrapper packages now come with pre-made folders structure and you can use it as many other SDKs.

As usual, you can find all necessary documentation, including the updated User Guide and the new COM start-up Tutorial inside our Documentation section.

The JNIWrapper 1.4 is still available for download, evaluation and purchase.

During one month since JNIWrapper 2.0 release, we offer the JNIWrapper and the upgrade at a lower promotional price. The offer is valid until December 1, 2003.

Existing customers can upgrade to version 2.0 at a discounted upgrade price.

Well, the JNIWrapper 2.0 is out. But we are not going to stop here. We have lots of ideas about new features and improvements. So, we decided to share some of our plans for the nearest JNIWrapper developments with you.

JNIWrapper 2.0 Release Date

Probably, this is not exactly the message you expected to see on the JNIWrapper News channel. But we have to admit that the release of JNIWrapper 2.0 is already quite late from what was originally planned.

We were almost ready to release the JNIWrapper 2.0 for Windows which mainly brings new COM/OLE/ActiveX integration functionality along with other minor enhancements. But having done another critical overview of what we were going to publish, we decided that it is not as good as we want it to be.

During the last two weeks we have received a great volume of feedback on COM integration functionality introduced in Beta version and we keep receiving new comments. We would like to thoroughly address your requests.

Our intention is to make a new version of JNIWrapper a real step forward. Therefore, this news is not about the new version release but about its delay.

What are the enhancements we are working on now:

• Better JNIWrapper API documentation.
• More COM Integration examples in WinPack Demo (Internet Explorer and Shockwave Flash).
• Easier code generation.
• All depricated API removal.
• Customers feedback on Beta version processing.

All the changes listed above require another week of work.
