JExcel 1.8 is Out!


This week is quite reach for new releases! JExcel has been updated to version 1.8.

In this version we have added support of Excel 2013, Excel 2016 and improved stability in multi-threaded environments.

JExcel has been updated to version 1.7.

New Features and Improvements:

  • Improved memory management and stability;
  • Resolved focus handling and painting issues in JWorkbook component;
  • Improved performance.

JExcel 1.6 Released

JExcel has been updated to version 1.6.

New Features and Improvements

  • Added support of Windows 8 (32-bit and 64-bit modes);
  • Added support of JDK 1.7;
  • Improved automatic memory management;
  • Extended API with the new wrappers and methods;
  • Added new event listeners for Excel events.

JExcel 1.5 Released

JExcel has been updated to version 1.5.

New Features:

  • Added support of 64-bit platforms;
  • Generation of appropriate events for worksheets which have been added by copying;
  • Added support of Excel 2010 32/64-bit.

JExcel Update

JExcel, a library that allows integrating and controlling Microsoft Excel in Java Swing applications, has been updated to version 1.4.

In this release we introduce new API features related to operations with ranges and JExcel window. The updated version also provides support of SLF4J Logging Facade and resolves issues reported by our customers. For the full scope of changes please check out the JExcel 1.4 Release Notes.

JNIWrapper 3.7.2, WinPack 3.7 and ComfyJ 2.6 released

We are pleased to announce a maintenance release for ComfyJ, JNIWrapper and WinPack.

ComfyJ 2.6 introduces a new feature in Code Generator for ComfyJ application. If a type library contains help strings for interface methods, then they will be automatically added to Javadoc for generated stubs.

WinPack 3.7 provides support for CBT hook and resolves the issue with 16 bit images.

JNIWrapper was updated to version 3.7.2 due to implementation of new features and fixing issues in ComfyJ and WinPack. For the full scope of changes in these version please check out the JNIWrapper 3.7.2 Release Notes and ComfyJ 2.6 Release Notes.

JExcel 1.3 is Out

TeamDev is pleased to announce a new release of JExcel, library that allows Java developers to integrate their Java software with Microsoft Office Excel.

JExcel 1.3 introduces new API features related to operations with ranges, worksheets and workbooks. Also, with this release, we bundle JExcel with the latest versions of underlying technologies such as JNIWrapper and ComfyJ. JExcel 1.2 - new features and important improvements

JExcel is quite popular product with rather big customer base, many of whom sometimes contact us for an additional functionality they would like to see in JExcel. We do our best trying to help our customers do what they need to by extending JExcel functionality with new API features or improving the existing.

This 1.2 update for JExcel introduces some new API for working with Ranges, fixes some issues and improves the compatibility with Microsoft Office 2007.

JExcel 1.1. Better, Faster

It's been really a long time since the latest update of JExcel. Throughout all this time, JExcel proved to be stable and complete in terms of features. Of course, there are always some things missing, and we fulfilled almost every customer's needs one way or another when requested.

This update for JExcel introduces some new API features that were most frequently requested. Also, with this release, we bundle JExcel with the latest versions of underlying technologies such as JNIWrapper and ComfyJ. This is an important addition because it significantly improves JExcel's stability and performance. Apart from that, we ensured compatibility of JExcel with Microsoft Office 2007 Excel.

JExcel 1.0 Release

It's always a pleasure to release a new product. It feels like a float-out ceremony the air is filled with excitement to see it sail into open waters.

Today TeamDev Ltd. has released JExcel.

Today the JNIWrapper Team is proud to present the first Preview release of JExcel library.

JExcel is a library for integrating Microsoft Excel into Swing applications.

You can download JExcel, evaluate it during 30 days and submit us your comments or suggestions. By the time your trial version expires, we will update JExcel or will make it available for purchase.
