PPAPI Flash on Mac in JxBrowser 6.0.1!


JxBrowser 6.0.1 is now available for download!

In this update we enabled PPAPI Flash support on Mac OS X, implemented Flash context menu, added HiDPI monitors support for heavyweight mode, added Swing key bindings, and fixed several critical issues reported by our customers.

It's Official – JxBrowser 6.0 is Released!


It’s been almost a month since JxBrowser 6 Beta was released.  Our long-term and new customers sent us valuable thoughts and comments on it. We would like to thank all of you. We really appreciate your help in making JxBrowser better. Using your feedback we significantly improved JxBrowser 6 since Beta release.

JxBrowser for Maven Projects



We are glad to let you know that JxBrowser now can be used in Java projects based on Maven. JxBrowser libraries are available on our own public Maven repository. In order to obtain JxBrowser JAR files using Maven you need to make the following changes to your pom.xml file:

1. Add TeamDev Maven repository to the repositories section of your pom.xml file:
<repository>
    <id>com.teamdev</id>
    <url>http://maven.teamdev.com/repository/products</url>
</repository>
2. Add the dependency on JxBrowser cross-platform library to the dependencies section of your pom.xml file:
<dependency>
    <groupId>com.teamdev.jxbrowser</groupId>
    <artifactId>jxbrowser-cross-platform</artifactId>
    <version>5.4.3</version>
</dependency>

With this release we are happy to bring to you a number of super-useful features and improvements, to name just a few:

DotNetBrowser 1.4 Released!


DotNetBrowser has been updated to version 1.4.

We are happy to announce a new update with great new features and improvements. In this minor version we concentrated on rendering performance and support of new environments. Here’s a list of main features and improvements in 1.4:
  • GPU-accelerated rendering mode has been added. This mode is enabled by default. So, now DotNetBrowser library provides two rendering modes: off-screen (lightweight) and windowed/GPU-accelerated (heavyweight) modes.
  • Now the library is compatible with .NET 4.0. A lot of our customers have their projects built for .NET 4.0, so we made the library compatible with it.
  • We added support on Windows Server 2008 and 2012 environments.
  • Upgraded Chromium engine from version 39 to 43
  • The size of DotNetBrowser.Chromium.dll has been decreased from 74Mb to 43Mb.

DotNetBrowser 1.1 is Released

DotNetBrowser has been updated to version 1.1.

In this update we added support of Windows 8/8.1 and .NET Windows Forms, improved initialization process: now Chromium binaries are automatically extracted into user’s temp directory, so you don’t need to configure the library with the directory path to Chromium binaries.

DotNetBrowser 1.x is launched!


Having gained profound experience in Java integration TeamDev is stepping forward to use its expertise to the advantage of .NET developers.

Today we are happy to announce the launch of the DotNetBrowser – a new great way to use all the benefits of Chromium web browser engine in .NET applications.

DotNetBrowser is a .NET Library that allows embedding Chromium-based component into .NET applications to display modern web pages built with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc.

DotNetBrowser provides WPF component that you can embed into WPF Desktop Application to display web pages. HTML content is rendered by Chromium engine. The component displays graphics that is rendered by Chromium engine in separate process. The library supports Chromium's Multi-Process Architecture. There are no differences in web page rendering between DotNetBrowser and Google Chrome. The web page will look exactly as in Google Chrome.

JxBrowser 5 Beta is out!















We are glad to announce Beta release of JxBrowser 5.

JxBrowser 5 extends its capabilities to the applications created on JavaFX. Now, apart from Swing component, JxBrowser provides the one designed for JavaFX applications. This new component allows embedding JxBrowser into JavaFX application like any other standard JavaFX component.

There is a wide list of new features, including OSGi and Chromium 64-bit on Mac OS X support, to name just a few. Check complete list of new features at the JxBrowser 5 Beta page on our support site.
